וְלֹֽא־הֵסִ֨יר דָּוִ֧יד אֶת־הָאָר֛וֹן אֵלָ֖יו אֶל־עִ֣יר דָּוִ֑יד וַיַּטֵּ֕הוּ אֶל־בֵּ֥ית עֹבֵֽד־אֱדֹ֖ם הַגִּתִּֽי׃
Also entfernte David die Lade nicht zu ihm in die Stadt Davids, sondern trug sie beiseite in das Haus Obed-Edoms, des Gittiters.

Dovid did not want to bring the Ark of Adonoy towards him, to the city of Dovid. Dovid carried it aside [to] the house of Oveid Edom the Gittite.
